Merlinowo*PL is a cattery born out of a love for cats and a passion for breeding the highest quality purebred lines. Our cattery name was registered in 2016, and today we are active in both WCF (IBSCC club) and FPL. From the very beginning, our goal has been not only to breed beautiful cats but also to create a responsible, transparent cattery built on respect for animals.
Our home is primarily filled with British Shorthairs, British Longhairs, Siberians, and Neva Masquerades—but every now and then, a little stray in need shows up… temporarily adding a “domestic cat” to the family. Merlinowo is a home filled with love, dedication, and constant growth. This is where the first white British Longhair kittens with odd-colored eyes were born in Poland—our pride and a milestone in the country’s feline history.
Over the years, our cats have won dozens of titles and awards at national and international cat shows, including Best of Best I trophies. Many of our cats regularly reach the podium in their classes. One special cat in our cattery is GICH Gucci Zvezda Severa—a tomcat who became the proud father of numerous kittens, both cherished companions and future breeding stars.
Our cats come from renowned catteries in Russia, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the USA, and Canada, as well as from our own carefully developed bloodline. We are also proud to be the first cattery in Poland to own a white British Longhair odd-eyed female with confirmed hearing—Iluminacja Merlinowo*PL, who won her first trophy at her debut show.
Kittens leaving our home are not only beautiful and healthy—they’re also well prepared for life in their new families. From the first days, they participate in daily home life—interacting with children, dogs, other cats, and even our bunny.
Each kitten is: vaccinated (twice), microchipped, dewormed multiple times, neutered/spayed before leaving, provided with a health book and pedigree and raised in a home environment, not isolated in a separate room.
Socialization is our top priority—we believe a well-raised kitten means a happy cat and a happy human. A strong start ensures a smooth transition and helps build a trusting bond between the cat and its new family.
Kittens sold as pets (not for breeding) leave our home no earlier than 14–15 weeks of age. Until then, we provide the best care possible—both physically and emotionally.
Each pet kitten:Każdy kociak przed przeprowadzką do nowej rodziny:
• is neutered/spayed before leaving,
• receives a pedigree (WCF & IBSCC),
• has a health book and microchip,
• is vaccinated twice and dewormed several times,
• comes with a starter kit for the first days in the new home,
• is litter-trained and used to home life with kids, dogs, and rabbits.
Only kittens sold specifically for breeding may leave our cattery unneutered.
We only sell breeding cats to officially registered catteries (e.g., WCF, FPL, TICA). We do not sell breeding kittens to individuals who plan to start a cattery in the future. If you’re interested in a breeding cat, please register your cattery first—we're happy to help with the process, even if you don’t yet own a cat.
The process begins with choosing a kitten. Next, we sign a reservation agreement that includes:
• all necessary details,
• our bank account number for the deposit.
Reservation fee is 1000 PLN (to be paid within 2 days). The final agreement is signed on the agreed pickup date.
If the kitten is going abroad, there is an additional charge of 200–400 PLN for: passport, rabies vaccination, extra deworming, tests, 3-week quarantine, veterinary certificate (TRACES), and a travel kit. International transport is arranged through our trusted pet courier.
We never leave our kittens—or their new families—on their own. From the moment of reservation, we stay in touch, send photos, and share updates. We help you prepare step by step: from choosing the right food, litter box, or scratching post, to advice on adaptation, feeding, grooming, and safety in your home.You can always message or call us—we’re here for you, and we love staying part of each kitten’s journey.
1. We reserve the right to refuse a sale at any time if we feel the home doesn’t meet our standards—deposit will be refunded.
2. If the reservation fee is not paid within 2 days, the kitten is not considered reserved.
3. The deposit is non-refundable unless we cancel the sale. It helps cover the kitten’s upkeep.
4. Transport within Poland is possible by arrangement—fuel and toll costs apply.
5. International transport is only possible with a professional pet transport company.
British Shorthair kittens: from 2400 to 6000 PLN (White British Longhairs with odd eyes—price set individually)
Neva Masquerade / Siberian kittens: from 3700 to 4000 PLN
Breeding kittens: from 1600 EUR (set individually)
Prices effective as of November 1, 2023.
1. Stud service with our males is available.
2. We reserve the right to refuse a mating without explanation.
3. We do not offer stud service for unregistered or mixed-breed females.
4. We do not cooperate with catteries that do not neuter kittens before they go to new homes.
